For the first time, Quinta dos Capinhas joins the initiative of the Municipality of Lagoa
On the 6th of August, Quinta dos Capinhas received the group from the 4th session of Lagoa Wine Experiences. About 30 visitors visited the vineyard and tasted the best red, rosé and white wines from our production.
João Capinha, general manager of Quinta dos Capinhas, welcomed the group and guided them on a walk through the vineyard – followed by wine tasting paired with tapas prepared by Algarve Views and accompanied by dance shows.
In addition to participating in the tasting of white wines Colheita 2021, red Alicante Bouschet 2020 and Rosé 2020, guests had a workshop on analyzing sugar for the harvest.
Quinta dos Capinhas is preparing for this year’s Harvest, which should take place in the coming weeks.
The event was organized by the Câmara de Lagoa and lasted the whole day, also including visits to two other vineyards in the municipality, Monte de Salicos and Dona Niza. On the first Saturday of each month, the group of wine lovers gets together to enjoy a day of wine experiences, with tastings and conversations with the producers.
