Informative tour on the history of the winery and explanation of wines from our guide Sofia. She was great and very personable. She gave us suggestions for restaurants to try in Lisbon. All fives wines we tried were good, and the charcuterie board was diverse and well put together.

Thanks to her English lessons, Monique was able to understand most of his explanations. I only understood 10%, but I had my other half, who brought me up to 40%.
What can I say about the contents? 2 whites, 1 rosé, 2 reds, and a selection of various appetizers, allowing for a dinner to accompany the alcohol.
But this charming young man was able to share his passion and the subtleties of this less common profession in the alguarve.
In short, a great time.

⭐️I never leave reviews but we went in a friend group and had an amazing experience with Juan Pedro! Great balance of knowledge sharing and lightheartedness. The views and sunset was amazing, and great wine and tasting. 5/5 totally recommend!☺️

Thanks Facundo for a great wine tour and tasting. We had a really fun time and made some friends in the group during the tasting. Great setting and tasting area, even in the sunmer heat. Wine was really good, our favourite was the white.

We did the afternoon wine tour and wine tasting and it was simply magical. Sofia not only gave us a tour of the vineyard, but she also talked about the surrounding area and the history of this beautiful family operated vineyard. The wine tasting is very special as Sofia is an excellent sommelier and you learn a lot about the delicious wine of Quinta dos Capinhas from Sofia and João, the winemaker. You even learn how professionals taste wine. There is only one word for this experience: fabulous!

Although sommelier Facundo only recently came to Quinta dos Capinhas from Argentina, he explained everything to us wonderfully and gave the impression that he had been there for a long time. Thanks to his friendly manner, we were able to enjoy the afternoon wine tasting even more than we would have due to the high-quality tapas and the exciting wine alone.
The great location on the sunny vineyard slope was the icing on the cake 😊

Fantastic afternoon spent at Quinta dos Capinhas with family. The scenery is spectacular! Our wonderful Argentinian guide/ sommelier was super knowledgeable, wine tasting was 10/10 along with the selection of cheeses. Would highly recommend.

The experience was great from start to finish. The wine selection was excellent – we tried several different styles, all very tasty, and each one came with a super interesting explanation. You could tell that everything was chosen with great care.

The place is beautiful, with a super welcoming atmosphere and a personal touch that made everything even more special. The snacks that accompanied the wines were also delicious – they went really well together!

The sommelier, Facundo, was super friendly and knew a lot about wines. You could feel his passion for what he does. We loved it and definitely recommend it!

I would definitely give 5 stars if the wine tasting was for adults only. The place is stunning, the wines and tapas are great, and the host is very friendly and knowledgeable and perfect for the job.

In our small tasting group, there were a total of six children under the age of five, and I didn’t expect crying, screaming, running around and other noise to be part of a wine-tasting evening.

I wanted to listen, learn, and discuss wines with other adults and enjoy a lovely evening in peace, but instead, it was just stressful, and I found myself just waiting for it to end.

We had the best experience in this winery! It is family owned/operated, the owner gave us a tour of the property and all of the wine was delicious! As he said, it is “wine drinking not wine tasting” with big portions and delicious charcuterie for pairing. The sunset views are remarkable. And it is family friendly, we came with our toddler and baby and they had a great time. Highly recommend!! We are shipping some delicious wines back home.

What a wonderful time we had at Quinta dos Capinhas. Luis, the owner, welcomed us into his ‘garden’ and gave us an amazing tour of the site. Informative and intriguing with wonderful stories about his family’s estate. Then we had a private picnic where Louis’s wife specially prepared an incredible assortment of vegetarian tapas for us. The wines were incredible too. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you to Luis and his wife (and sorry for the late review from our August 15 visit).

What a beautiful and unique experience. Did the afternoon vineyard tour - which is rather an exciting explanation about the area, the trees and the surrounding - or his second skin as the owner refers to. Followed by some wine tasting plus excellent snack board. Louis and his wife are amazing hosts. They put so much love and dedication into this tour and make sure that everyone will be leaving with a smile on their face. The atmosphere of this place is incredible. Would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to experience more than just drinking some wine.
