This Touriga Nacional Reserva comes from our terraced vineyard with sandy-loam and limestone soils, located in Porches, in the Algarve, just 2 km from the sea
TERROIR
Sandy-loam and limestone soils. South-facing vineyard.
Situated just 2000 metres from the sea and exposed to strong northerly winds from Monchique.
WINEMAKING AND AGEING
Hand-harvested at night. The grapes undergo destemming, crushing, délestage and fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
TASTING NOTES
The wine combines ripe fruit with balsamic tobacco, graphite and cocoa. Floral, with notes of sucrose and heather.
Very complex, elegant and harmonious. Long-lasting, persistent aftertaste.
